In the midst of tragic stories in the news (mass murder in a Jewish synagogue, loss of all lives on board a passenger jet), I am emotionally reeling from Champ’s death late yesterday afternoon. Man, this hurts. It hurts terribly for us all in my family, in spite of knowing we made the right decision and knowing that he is not suffering any more. It is a reminder that life is precious and that we need to be sure to express love to our loved ones because one day they or we will be gone.
Here are some photos of Champ through the years that will continue to keep his memory alive for us.
