Merry Christmas! I’m currently staying with family in northern Wisconsin near Eagle River and Three Lakes at Wheaton College’s Northwoods campus, HoneyRock. There is snow on the ground and more is coming on Thursday if predictions hold true. The gift giving and opening stuff was done last night, on Christmas Eve, which is our tradition. So today is low key with the main feature being a nice meal in the evening.
Others have been playing Uno while I’ve been busy napping. Napping and vacation go well together 🙂
My father-in-law provides plenty of bird seed for feeders outside the lodge where they have their apartment, and it’s always interesting to observe the wild animal interactions. In addition to a wide variety of birds, the feeders also attract different types of squirrels, wild turkeys, and deer.
